TRIPS 2007

Greece

The summer of 2007, we decided to go to Greece, visiting several islands and saving Athens for last. These photos are mainly about the Acropolis. It was a really hot day and we were all excited to go, but pretty much wimps when we got up there. Just think of the workers who built it in 439 BC. The sad thing is that shortly after it was finished wars broke out. The Spartans used it as a military base in 404 BC. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing these world treasures.
